Started in 1962 it is a registered charity and workd across many areas to help people with autism. Their website includes information about autism and Asperger syndrome, the NAS and its services and activities. They have telephone helplines and e-mail support.

Cure Autism Now has been around since 1995. It is an organization of parents, clinicians and leading scientists who are pushing forward research into treating autism biomedically. They also have a number of chapters around the country raising awareness of autism and funds for more research.
